I really liked how there was a book within this book that helped us understand the friendship between Ingrid, Joel, and CeCe. This story deals heavily with grief and how people deal with their grief in different ways. I never read back blurbs, so I had no idea what this story was about when I started reading it. I love Nicole Deese’s stories, so I have been looking forward to reading The Words We Lost for awhile now.
